Our four bedroom cottage has ancient roots firmly planted in the past, and started life as a satellite farm for the nearby Cistercian Monastery of Parc Grac Dieu. Built as a traditional Welsh long house; parts of the cottage date back to the 15^th century and the blend of old and new means the cottage has every modern facility to ensure a comfortable and relaxing home-from-home stay.

The Cottage has been carefully restored and elegantly decorated by owner Nicola Daley. The furnishings are simply beautiful and our guests appreciate the stylish touches created by Nicola's innate sense of contemporary country style.

Outside the terrace has a BBQ and pizza oven, ample space to sit and eat, entertain, and soak up the sun. The wood-fired hot tub is easy to use and close by on the secluded lower terrace.

A Showman's Waggon is an entirely different beast to the more widely known shepherds hut. For a start they are MUCH bigger and better fitted out. Both our authentically restored Showman's Waggons were built around the late 19^th to early 20^th century, and hark back to that thrilling time when the fair and the circus came to town. The Waggon was the Ringmaster's castle, and now it can be your off-grid glamping holiday escape from the stresses of 21^st century living.

The Showman's Waggons are decked out like an Edwardian gentleman’s residence with stunning fireplaces, fabulous painted ceilings and painted bullseye mirrors designed specifically for the Waggon, and sumptuous fabrics. We’ve tweaked them a bit to fit in with modern living - wood burners, off-grid electrics, bigger beds, etc. - but otherwise they are original.

We have two Waggons and they sit in secluded splendour within 25 acres of wilderness. Privacy assured, unplug, re-wind and re-connect. Enjoy star gazing in wood fired hot tub, swimming in the lake or snuggling up in front of the fire.
